Privacy Policy

Your Deskbud identity is created when you register with an email or phone number and a password — the same account you then log into from the desktop app. We store your identifier, a hash of your password (never the password itself), and the activity needed to run the product: characters you own and your order history

This data lives on our account service (server/account-api), the same backend the desktop app talks to — not only in your browser

Account data runs the core Deskbud experience: remembering the characters you own, and processing character purchases through Paddle (our payment provider) when you buy a paid character

You can sign out of any browser at any time from Account Settings — this only signs this browser out, and doesn't delete your account's data
